I'm Sandra! Currently a homemaker due to my health issues, but am working towards getting on my feet. I enjoy browsing the internet, listening to music and spending time with my fiancé.
Since 2025! I've only recently gotten into the hobby. I have been coding for years before this though.
I was addicted to changing my blog on Tumblr in 2012 and that's where my love for coding began. I can't remember how I stumbled across Neocities, but seeing everybody's sites and how creative they were made me decide to see if I still had some coding experience left in me LOL.
Usually personal blogs or sites that have their own individuality to them! I also love, love, love blogs with nostalgic vibes to them.
I usually pick the aesthetic as I go along! Sometimes I'll base it around an image or pixels I've found.
My biggest inspiration would definitely have to be Valentinely. I'd been checking out her site before I ever even made one myself. Some of my other inspirations are the people that I follow on here!
Seeing my site when it's completely finished. I have a bad habit of going through my site and seeing little hiccups that need fixed 24/7 though.
Creating a base. I do better with using templates and just adding whatever I want as I go like cursors, top laces, music, etc. I also have a hard time trying to figure out what to write about. I'm a pretty boring person with a very basic life and I just don't have a way with words like most people on here.
I use different ones! I'm somebody that grows tired very easily of my sites looking a certain way, so having them all doing their own thing really helps with that.
I feel a little more confident now that I've gotten back into the swing of coding again. I'm sure I still have plenty of learning to do though.
Sure don't, but I usually google things as I go anyways just to make sure I'm doing everything correctly.
< b >, < i >, anything that makes my words stand out!
I usually start with the background, favicon and cursor I want. Then, I just build from there.
Sort of, it's still something that I struggle with.
I'm gonna be real, I don't even know what that is. :')
I usually try to make every page pastel and cute, but I really enjoy other aesthetics, so I'll sometimes switch it up if I'm feeling like it.
Design. If things are wonky and hard to follow, it makes me want to immediately click off.
I don't and I'm not really sure if I'd care to? It would be pretty neat to have one some day, but if I never do, that won't bother me either.
Love them! They make me miss the old internet.
I just put stuff together and hope for the best honestly, so I don't know.
I like them!
I like to look at them! I can get a bit overwhelmed though if there's a lot to look at.
I think I would be a bit more picky with each design I have for my pages. I'd clean up my index a bit better, but I'll do that... eventually.
Yes! It makes me want to work on my coding skills even more.
I use Sublime Text!
I just really like it. I tried using phoenix code, but I just didn't flow well with it. I tried Sublime Text after that and loved it. :D
I use Filegarden! It's literally the best and making folders on there of what I use on my sites really helps me keep everything organized.
I didn't even know that there was a debate LOL. I think people should just use whichever works for them.
I'm not sure.
Yes! Just in case lol.
I like a bit of both. If there's a little too much of something, it can kinda throw me off.
For the most part, I try to stick to a light/pastel aesthetic throughout my site. I love many aesthetics though, so I just try to do whatever I feel in the mood for.
Nope! I'm still a newbie and have a lot to learn!
A solitary hobby. There are a few people that I would really love to be friends with though, but I'm terribly shy. So I just admire their sites from afar LOL.
My fiancé and a super close friend of mine knows about it.
I don't update as often as I wish I could, but I do what I can when I can.
I usually just change out pixels, backgrounds, etc., but not the template itself.
I think it's mostly me-focused. Of course I really enjoy posting for the people that follow me, but I went into this wanting to have myself at the center of it all. I wanted to post about what I wanted to.
Nope!
Probably not. I love to code and design my website, but there is no way I'd want to make that into a career.
Not really, but I would love to have friends to email to!
Yes, but they aren't something I use very often. TikTok is really the only app I have a bad habit of doomscrolling on. I have FB messenger for family.
^ See above. I do use Discord daily, but that's about it.
It really depends on my mood at the time. I like to listen to rock/metal/alt most of the time, but if I really want to zone in, I have lo-fi music playing.
Neocities is the only website that I use. I don't think I'd be able to keep up with everything if they were scattered around.
Many! I love talking and sharing things.
I present my real self! At first I wanted to keep a persona, but I scrapped that idea after I saw that I cannot be anybody but me.
Not yet, but maybe some day!
I'm content!
Autoplaying music(!!!). There aren't many reasons I'd click out of a site, but it having autoplaying music is definitely my number 1. If it's set to a low volume, it's not so bad.
Have a sense of individuality. It's okay to take inspo from other places, but try to stay on the path of what you like and what you want your website to look like.
Probably generic structure.
Sometimes, but I'm content with the one I'm using now.
I use Opera! I've been using it for quite a few years now and it's never failed me. Everybody should use whatever they personally vibe with though.
Windows 11.
It's what my PC is updated to, but I hate it.
No. I don't keep mobile in mind when I'm designing my site.
I absolutely hate it. I don't mind it if they have it on autoplay, but it's at a quiet volume.
I love them! It really helps find fellow sites that see things the same way / have the same interests.
Not yet, but I'm hoping to some day have a few! I like seeing the sentimental value it has to you and why you love it so much.
I mean, probably, but do I care? No. My site is mine. I'm not worried about what people think.
I want to create my site from scratch one day.
Nope.
I use valentinely, pixel-soup, nightmarereverie and cheriisoda a lot.
None that I can think of tbh.
I don't really have any since I'm pretty new to all of this as well, but I would say just do what you love. Who cares if a certain aesthetic is hated by a group? If you like it, then do it. It's your website and don't let people bully you into not making it into something you love.
Mostly in CSS. I just feel like it's easier to keep up with if you put it there.
I like them a lot!
I really like them too!
Well sure! I love a layout with a lot of columns because it gives me more space to do things on.
HTML for sure.
No, I've never not used CSS. I wouldn't mind testing it out though!
When the need arises.
Now that I've been running my site for a little while and I've gotten back into the swing of coding, I would say I'm somewhere in the middle.
Yes! I like seeing how they do things the way they do to get their site to how it is so I can understand for when I edit my site.
I was on Tumblr a lot throughout my teenagehood, so I spent a lot of my time changing my themes. Understanding coding from that really helps I think.
PFFF, probably. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like them!
I use px, but sometimes I'll use %.
MS PGothic/MS Gothic, Spectral, Delius, Verdana.
Probably not. I like having my blog to myself.
Every chance I get!
If I really love their site, I will. Or sometimes I bookmark them for later when I have more time to sit and look. I would be beyond flattered if somebody had my site bookmarked.
My aesthetics.
I still have my DS Lite, Gameboy and my Playstation 2, 3 and 4. Along with their games I've gotten throughout the years. I'm hoping to eventually start collecting more!
Sometimes I'm on quite often, but I haven't been as of late.
Me!
Nope.
Nope.
They're okay, but I wouldn't use them for a website. I use Carrd as a way of having my links in one place, but that's it.
I do! I think it's fun to see how many times people have looked at your/other people's site.
Not really.
I write it directly in my editor.
People have said I was cool, but I don't feel like I am LOL.
Seeing my old website, I think I did alright for my first time uploading on here.
I would most likely close it down. I don't feel comfortable with a site sitting idle with my personal stuff out there.
A little bit of both. I share personal stuff on here, but not too much.
I do have an online best friend, but she doesn't have a website (yet).
Rarely.
Pretty good! I know most of my answers are just rambles, but oh well. c:

My dad had given me a candy called toffifay and I eventually adopted the name 'toffifae' until I finally shortened it to toffii.

Very weak.
Brown, shoulder length, wavy.
"Oh my fucking god."
Extremely introverted and awkward. Horrible around new people/crowds and even worse at making small talk. I can be nice when I want to be, but very opinionated and loud when I need to be.
My comfort foods! I love anything that makes me feel better.
Myself! I've done a lot for myself the last couple of months that I never thought I would get to do and it makes me proud that I've been sticking to all of it.

Snacks and a Pipeline Punch Monster.
A haunted house or a spooky party.
Take a shower and get cozy.
My living room or game room LOL.
I don't do karaoke.
It was Twenty One Pilots Vessel CD.
Coding! I'm really excited to keep progressing my website and improving certain aspects of it.
Nothing, really.
I'd do a lot of things differently. Probably go to college instead of becoming a burn out.
Being open minded, understanding, kind and having patience.
That it's okay to say you need help when you need it. It's okay to tell the truth about how you feel/how the people in your life make you feel. Never make yourself smaller to keep everybody else comfortable. You are allowed to take up space, be loud, be opinionated. <3
What we're all doing with our lives. We get up, work, sleep. It's a constant pattern and things aren't supposed to be as miserable as they are. We were never supposed to live like this.
I think we're in a phase where every single person always has an opinion about everything. It's okay if you disagree or dislike something, but to always have an opinion about every single little thing is so exhausting. Basically what Bo Burnham said here.

I like them! I'm not as deep into them as other people, but my favorites are Phantom of the Opera, Moulin Rouge and Rocky Horror Picture Show.
It depends on my mood, but I'm usually always down for Charleston Chews. I don't eat them very often, but they're very nostalgic for me.

Yes, I am listening to Breaking the Silence by Breaking Benjamin.
♡ forever.
I think it's fun to read about the stuff, but I never take it too seriously.
I'm 50/50 on it. I've experienced some questionable moments, but don't dwell on them too much.
Don't really have an opinion since I'm not very familiar with it.
Definitely not. I don't think I could handle being in the public eye like that.
Yes. Very.
Really enjoyed English, but I loved my art classes as well.
Normal (I asked my fiancé because he really loves Pokemon and he said I'd be a normal + fairy type).
I've never watched this.
Love me a good < b > tag!!!
No.
It's okay. Not really something I go out of my way to listen to.
Yes, but I didn't get to express myself outwardly because of my parents. I'm making up for it in my adulthood though. :)
Not really. I used to draw when I was in high school, but I haven't drawn since.
I try not to, but my fingers lock up on me sometimes and it helps to crack them.
Eh, sort of. It's an interest that comes and goes for me.
No, but I'd like to learn!
Debatable LOL.
A $600+ gaming chair for my fiancé. Worth every penny.

YES, I loved it.
Why people need to wake up and realize that this life is the only one we've got, so we all need to make it count.
I think I'm decent!
Never watched, played, listened to whatever this is.
I don't see anything like synths from Fallout 4/I, Robot happening, but it's more to do with AI and it being shoved into things.
I personally believe it hasn't gone far enough. We still have a lot to learn.
As much as I would love to be an angel, I'd probably be a devil LOL.
(⚆_⚆”)
